Proposition 34: No

Both Proposition 33 and Proposition 34 are intertwined, both are bad, but 34 exists for spite.

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation (ARF), an LA organization that many consider problematic, are backers of Prop 33, a rent control ordnance. Landlords who see rent control as a damper on price gouging and massive profits, put Prop 34 on that ballot to specifically target ARF.

I have no love lost for ARF, but this revenge initiative is not only unseemly, it’s a huge waste of the state’s money.

Make a statement against this sort of thing. Reject it thoroughly. Vote No.
